There exists a house in the South of Cologne.
In a way it’s kind of Babel tower situated in
Porz – a special area of the city where live people from all possible parts of the world. How do they feel living there?
Do they identify themselves with this house and can they call it their home? We’ve asked those questions not just ourselves but also it’s inhabitants.
Within this short-term project we developed means of communication between those people and their house. We came up with a graphic representing reflection of the house what brings
everyone under one roof. We’ve built it up in the early morning on the playground in front of the house so looking out of the window
people would recognise a shadow of their house what could make them think of relation to their home and their neighbors.
And it worked – people had lots to say and to reflect.
